That is the one I was thinking of Joy. Opposite Waitrose. I think Plaistow Road is close by.

Plaistow Cemetery is in Burnt Ash Lane, Bromley, Kent.

If it is this one that you mean, try contacting them again - my grandparents are buried in Bromley Hill Cemetery, and a member of staff took a photo of the gravestone for me.

There is a Plaistow road in Bromley Kent and I am fairly certain the cemetery is Plaistow Cemetery.

Hi
Thanks for the replies

Ive tried googling but not found any links like we have here in M/cr (a very good service I have to say). Unfortunately we're not 100% they are buried there its just that they lived on this street so we believe thats where it will be.

Im doing this to help the lady's son aged 70 who was seperated from her at a young age then she died young herself. he knew very little about his mum and dearly wants to visit her grave to lay flowers.

Think the only way to find out is to pay up I suppose.

Thanks anyway peeps
Regards
Cassie :-)

Have you tried googling it?

You could try these links for starters -

Unfortunately, some cemeteries do feel the need to charge for supplying the info, particularly in the current difficult financial climate

All areas have different ways of dealing with this type of thing

Do you actually know for certain that these people are buried in the cemetery to which you have applied for info?

hello

Im trying to find a grave in this cemetery and on requesting the info via email I was told I had to pay £39.
I am from Manchester and we have a very good site that provides grave details on line.
Does anyone know if this is available in this area as I cant find anything myself but was just wondering as £39 seems extremely steep when I can provide the info and just need a plot number. Are there any other avenues I can take to find the info by any slim chance?
The 2 people buried together that Im looking for died in 1954 and 1947

Many thanks
Cassie :-(
