Where and when was he born?

Good Question im really not sure i no they origianally came from glasgow (Lennoxtown, stirling) im imagining he was born about 1880+ he had a son who was born in 1908 called leslie ross macnab dont no about any other children sorry i am not much help :-(

If they lived in Scotland then you need Scotlands People which is a pay to view site

they didnt stay living in scotland leslie macnab was born in brentford middlesex they were definatly in england at the time of the 1911census

thankyou Glitterbaby but do you no what i am slightly confused could there have been a name change at some point and would i be able to find this out reason being i have searched both english and scottish records and have found only a birth record and marriage recorfor albert ross macnab.

birth 1881
marriage 1903 to jane regan

no record of albert on the census then the name alexander pops up and matches all the details i have i.e born in lennoxtown glasgow and had a son called leslie macnab who was born in middlesex, i have also found a death record for an alexander macnab but no birth or marriage record.

anyone have any ideas or am i being totally stupid.
