viewing a census by address

do you have to go to a library in the area u want to look for? or do all libraries hold te records for every area ?

You can only look at electoral registers which at that time will show men over 21 and women over 30. They are searchable by address only and registers are kept at the nearest main lbrary.

The exception, which is online & allows name search, is Midlands Historical Data site for the |Birmingham area. (As far as I am aware the only one but I might be wrong!)

hi jan..im talking about 1924 .. i know theres no census entry to view for this year but is there such a website to see who was living there then?

can anyone please tell me what website i can use to view a census entry by address? i want to find out who lived at a certain address or not necessarily on census but how to view the people who lived at an address , if there is such a website
