Hi There is any one else having trouble viewing their tree,
Try as might cannot get my full tree up, the only way I can get to
to see it all is to go on to immediate family and work my way up
that way Cheers Pauline

I seem to have the same problem.

Instead of my full tree I end up with a white box full of computer language.

To be honest, Full Tree View is only useful if you have a relatively small tree, say up to a few thousand names, after that it gets too unwieldy.

Just tried mine which has over 13,000 names and it loads ok, so it is possible the problem is at your end.

Some people have mentioned problems when using IE9, whereas Firefox seems to be far less problematic. Both browsers work fine for me (I have a full view tree open in both as I am writing this) but I use FF out of preference to IE9. 99% of the time.

What you could try is to clear out your browser cache. This ensures that you have as much space as possible available for the data to download to your computer. This usually solves any problems with your tree suddenly failing to load properly.

If you continue to have difficulties, report the problem to GR Support, giving details of your operating system and browser type and version. You can contact them using the 'Contact us' option under Help, or direct by email at

Hi everyone. Inspector Green Pen is right - please contact our support team. We have a few little tricks we can try with our system where we can tweak your tree, which can help. Sometimes display problems are down to the tree itself, so if you have relations who've married, this can cause problems.

However, if your full tree simply won't display then please send the full details to the support team. It also really helps if you send us details of your internet borwser (e.g. IE8) and your operating system (e.g. Windows XP).
