For those with Ancestry access it is visible by selecting
London > Poplar > Poplar > 03 > 312

The original text appears to be:
Lodger bad Mother-in-Law to Head
which has been crossed out and replaced by Head.

I suspect 'bad' is really 'but'.
The same word also appears in a box at the bottom of the form.
