Thank you one and all for all your helpful hints, sometimes you just need another head or three to give you ideas of what to search for.

Thanks

Anne Marie...Your local Library should hold a copy of the Catholic Directory ..contains all names and info.of current and retired RC Priests plus details of when and where ordained etc.
I am not aware if it is on line or not..
If you have a problem PM me with his name/details and I will check for you ..

Hi Cynthia,

Thank you for your help. I did come across that one but they all seem to be American priests. I see I didn't actually say that he was ordained in England.

Thanks
Anne-Marie

Hello Anne-Marie,

If you google 'Roman Catholic Priests Directory', you are given a choice of sites which may be helpful to you.

Hope this helps. Cx.

Hi, Does anyone know of a site that has information of RC priests and when they could have been ordained this would have been in the 1950s. I have Googled but can't find anything.

Thank you
Anne-Marie
