Family Search says John French married Ann Allen at Marston Moretaine, Beds on 13th October 1837.
This comes under Ampthill Registration District

As always. worth confirming this with marriage cert or looking at the originals of parish records.

Ann Hillson married William Faulkner same location around three weeks later, so that pairs them both off.
