On Findmypast there is a Saville Street, Dalton, Rotherham in the 1911 Census. Is not showing on any earlier censuses.

Saville Street, S65 3HD is off the A630 (Doncaster Rd) opposite the Asda Store

If you put the address in Google, it comes in Whiston Rotherham. But as a Road. Not sure.

Saville Street isn't coming up in Rotherham in the 1891 census on Findmypast.

People don't always tell the truth on marriage certificates. You often find couples listed at the same address - but this is usually because it was cheaper to have the banns called in just one parish rather than in two.

Sometimes people lie about where they live so they can be married in a particular church (I did this myself - although I know I shouldn't have!!).

It all depends on when they were married?

The 1891 census, lists my relative at a different address from what is on a marriage certificate. How can I find out who lived at 48 Saville st in 1891??? to ensure I have the correct person
