Does anyone know of a family named Jones who ran the Wynnes Arms Pubic house, Manod Rd. Ffestiniog. They are believed to have had a son Wilfred.

A Family called Jones in Wales :-)

Is this recent or before 1911?

This I am not sure. It is believed Wilfred was born about 1922 but I don't know at what stage in his life his parents had the pub

It maybe worth trying to contact the pub they may be able to give you info on where to find previous landlords

If you know what street the Oaks Tavern was on, you can check electoral register. If you are unable to visit yourself, I am happy to check for you as I am visiting the library week after next.
