You need to search for his WW1 records on Ancestry, although bear in mind that lots were destroyed in WW2 so they may not have survived. If you don't have access to Ancestry, I'm sure if you post his details that someone will look him up for you.

Hi

I am looking for more information about my Great Grandad. All I know is that in 1915 he was a Lance Corporal in the R.A.M.C andwas based at Sling Camp in Wiltshire. I have paid for access to the Military records, however I am having no luck.

For furhter information will I need to go to the National Archives?

Appreciate any help
