I feel like it. As I have recently added a John Smith to my tree I have great expectations for matches for him. :-D

The newsfeed box is only there if they have run the hot match software on your tree. They haven't got round to me yet so the box just says "Keep growing your tree"

I had a batch in September but none were found in October, according to my Newsfeed message.

One of the other reasons they appear to have dried up is that, under constant lobbying from a handful of members, GR were persuaded to change the system last December, so in order to register a HotMatch, the Place of Birth must also match in addition to the year and name. As a result many of the matches you would have seen previously are no longer appearing, as the POB's are not matching and so many members will now go for months at a time before receiving any new ones.

If you go to your Home Page, click on the tab at the top of here, on the right hand side is a Newsfeed box. Under that it tells you when the last Hot Match search was done and the results.

Mine says....

Newsfeed
We looked for new Hot Matches but didn't find any. Try adding more relations to your tree.

Some time ago I think I saw that the Hot Matches were starting up again. So far haven't had any and before they stopped I had lots every time. Can someone who has received some tell me anything? Are they sending notices like before?

Thanks
