hi i looking for a lilian halland frederick garbett they were married in newcatle in 1912 would like to know there parents side it all for my best friend

How sure are of the marriage in 1912, i can only see this one in 1916

I have also assumed it was Lilian Hall not Halland as you post suggests.

The only way to find their parents is to buy the marriage cert which will give father's name and occupation; also it might give their ages although it might just say "full age" meaning over 21. With this info, you can search for them in the 1911 census which should show them with their parents.

You can also look for their births on freebmd. The birth certs will give parents' names.

You need to buy the marrige certificate to find fathers names but if you know the birth years & places of birth of these people they might be located on the 1911 census.

I think, as has been said, you will need to buy marriage cert to find Lillian's details ( much more common name ) also, to confirm Fredericks....

There is a tree on Ancestry with Lilian Hall married to Frederick John Thomas Garbett,
it say's..... they married 10 November 1916, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
Frederick (21 yrs ol) Lilian (24? yrs old) 129 Burral Bridge Newcastle Frederick Armstrong College Newcastle.

Frederick's occupation is given as....Motor Mechanic, Sargeant South Staffordshire Regiment.

It gives Lilians father as Robert and states one " living " Garbett child

17 Jan 1922...Frederick is a Motor Driver, Domestic....Living at 19 Cross Street, Wednesbury...This is the date and address given for Lilians death.

Of course you must be extremely cautious of taking information from tree's without doing your own research
