Scotish Records, best site to try anyone??

Civil REgistration began in Scotland in 1855

Scotlandspeople, which is a pay to view site, where you can look at BMD's

You can not view online births within the last 100 years, nor marriages 75 years or death 50 years. But the site would give you the details needed to order the certs if within those dates

Before 1855 SP does have parish records

Or you could, depending on date, check out the IGI
