Im having a really hard time tracing great grandmother's family.

I know my great grand father was called Albert S Felton and he married Gladys D Coles in 1930 but im struggling to find out her family?!

I found a Gladys D Coles in a 1911 cenus.

Father - Ernest Coles
Estimated Date of Birth - 1880

Mother - Nellie Coles
Estimated Date of Birth - 1882


I can't find a marriage record for an Ernest and Nellie Coles?

Ive been racking my brains with this!
Unfortuantly my Grandfather (Gladys Coles Son) doesn't talk about his past and no one knows about his family.
The only thing we know is Ernest died before my grandparents were married in 1959.

Could Nellie be a nickname for Mary Eleanor?

Apparently they had a daughter called Eleanor (named after the mother?) who died around 40 but i cant find anything on her?

I also cant find a death certificate matching the correct date of birth and name for Nellie / Mary Eleanor
