On the 1871 census he says he is coming from Derbyshire.

l am trying to find the parents of my Great grandfather, James Wantling(1830)due to the fact that l can't find either his birth certificate or marriage cert l am struggling to move on.

As yet l have his death cert died 4/7/1885 wolverhampton daugther Ellen Jones(nee wantling) witness, He was aged 54yrs old

l have 1881 census( with Ellen on), His birthplace is Birmingham,Warwickshire residence 4 Adams St. Occupation Wheelwright

l have 1871 census His bithplace once again Birmingham,Warwickshire residence 16tibbington st Tipton occupaion carpenter.

l have 1851 census which l think could be him James Wankling aged 22 residence155 4 court st./Duke st Birmingham.occupation Wheelwiright.

His parents(as far as l am aware) are not on any of the above census forms.

l can't find 1861 census and 1841 census either.

My grandfather is William Wantling(b1875)
