You still haven't mentioned his name.

You can look for him on the 1911 census to see his family.

Are you looking in England and Wales, or elsewhere?

After the Sep Quarter 1911, the mother's maiden name is given on the GRO index.

Using Freebmd which is free, put the father's surname in the surname box, and the mothers maiden name in the other surname box. Select a year range, and probable registration district or county. The result will be a list of all records which match that criteria.

Its not infallible as there may be other (say) Jones/Green marriages and offspring- you'd have to buy the BC's to be absolutely sure.

Freebmd hasn't transcribed all of the records, and won't go further than 1983 - GR and other pay to use sites have births up to 2005.

The 1911 census will tell you how many children were born to a woman, living and dead, which helps track down the siblings born before 2 Apr 1911, so there is a gap between then and birth registrations made from 1 Sep 1911. WW1 military records (on Ancestry) if they have survived, often list the names and d.o.b of dependent children.

Are you willing to give your grandfather's name and year and place of birth so that we can try and help you in your search?

GR can't find them for you - you will need to do that yourself.....!

Do you have an idea when and where they were born and what their surname and mother's maiden name was?
