Why do you believe this?
Did they later leave Nova Scotia? Where did they go to, if so?

yes that is my family... Mother and father apparently met and married in St John. Mother from Dublin, Father origionally from Kent and by the second child mother and father had returned to kent where they stayed for the birth of all children before emmigrating permanently to Victoria, Australia.

Sorry, I can't find anything in Canadian records.
Where did you get the info that they were married St. John? It's just that there's a St John's, Newfoundland and Saint John, New Brunswick but not one in Nova Scotia as far as I know.

The GRO has Regimental records and the Army Chaplains' returns of Births/Baptisms & Marriages that cover this time for the Halifax garrison.FMP has transcribed the index.

Hi again Margee... only read part of your message last time. Nova scotia AND Saint John New Brunswick have both been mensioned in various records,
Hi mgnv...I have not heard of William ANNETT being in the armed services although he did become a policeman in Australia :)
