Thank you roy, I would have come back to see if anyone else

had replyed, but been out this afternoon,, Thank you so much for the

info on the maps , found it, might get up there one day to have a look around, you did me a really good job and I appreiciate it :-)

try this site, you will need to use the 1850's map and zoom in to the north west of st, peters church

on the map as Pease Ho

looking at modern maps it looks like it was just off what is now Batley road
around the Wrenthorpe lane area

Thank you both for giveing me things I can do , as I dont have ancestry
ect, I will try the sites you have given me, and will get to a library, will
have to be thursday, closed tomorrow, so again thank you Kense, and

If that doesn't work, you could contact the nearest main library, or Archive to ask them to look at old maps, and try and work out where it would have been on a more modern version.

You could look on this site, and see if you can spot it.

If you have access to Ancestry or FMP records of the census then the neighbouring households and adjoining sheets should help to locate it. Also the description of the enumeration district will narrow it down.

If you don't have such access the someone will probably be able to look it up.

In 1841 my ancesters lived at * Pierce House* Alverthorpe
Wakefield Yorks, How do I FIND the road ect were it stands or stood
Any help apprieciated thank you :-S
