As some of you will know on occasions i post information on obtaining photographs of headstones for military personnel who died in both World Wars, both a free site and one where you have to pay.

For the first time this week i have used the free site and i have to say i received the photo by email within 24 hours of my request, which i thought was fantastic the photo was very good, also sent was a overall picture of the cemetery. The people who are doing this it is a labour of love, they are to be congratulated.

So if anyone who has someone who died i the wars here is the link, whilst it is mainly the actual headstones they have photographed, but as you know there are many who died who have no known grave are just listed on a Memorial, but they may have the panel on which their name is listed

Just in case you would like the pay site, which i know the photos are of professional quality and very good.I also know that for those who do not have a known grave and are listed on a memorial they have photographed the panel and also the actual bit where the persons name is engraved.
