The following site shows cap badges of RN and MN. It shows the old King's Crown and the Queen's Crown. At least you can hopefully say which Service from the badge.

Attach the photo here on GR and you should get an answer and hopefully identify which Service.

Hello new postee here Im just starting to research my uncle John William Harrison born 1906. I know he had a long career in the navy, not sure whether royal or merchant. Have a photo and badge has a crown so am assuming royal navy. Where can I go to find more Olive
