Hello DetEcTive,

Thank you very much for your reply, unfortunately none of these seem to match my Ronald Freeman. He was born in 1927, and only has one first name - I have copy of birth cert.
I have looked at National Archives of Australia, but have not been able to find anything that could be him. I was hoping for some other websites, but all I have found stop at 1960.
Thank you for your time and effort in looking this up.

From the Australian Archive, Immigration and Naturalisation,

The record mentioned for 1968,,traveled by plane with wife and 3 children, was for a Ronald Peter Freeman, b 1937, his wife b 1941, and children b 1959, 1961 & 1967. They travelled per aircraft departing UK on 8 November 1968 under the Assisted Passage Migration Scheme. More details of names & dob are given, but as the children and possibly the parents are still living...........

There are also
FREEMAN Ronald Victor b 1930 + wife and 5 children (eldest b Jul 1950) travelled per aircraft departing UK on 4 March 1964 under the Assisted Passage Migration Scheme

FREEMAN Ronald David, + wife and 1 child departed NORTHERN STAR 28 January 1966. No dob given on this one

Just looked on FMP, sadly, this isn't the right Ronald Freeman. DOB is wrong and this one is a teacher. Not sure of the occupation of my one, but fairly sure he wasn't a teacher. Back to the drawing board.

If anyone knows of passenger lists to Australia for 1950's, 60's and 70's
please post link on here. Thank you all for your help.

Thank you for the info Kay, sorry its taken so long to get back to you - out all day.
Yes, I think it could be possible for him to have gone to Australia via USA, dob is near enough. I have credits for FMP so will have a look.
Thank you for taking the trouble to look this up, much appreciated.

Thank you for your reply Kay.
No he didn't have a 2nd name - according to his birth cert - but he could have 'adopted' another name.
Problem is I don't know if he married in England or Australia.

Can anybody point me in the right direction for passenger lists to Australia in the 1950's, 60' and 70's. I was told that Ronald Freeman Born 1927 went to Australia and had children and grandchildren but I don't know when, where or how. I can't seem to find any passenger lists after 1950. Any help would be much appreciated.
