Help - I was entering my family last night but the programme kept crashing and in the end I really ended up in a mess. The programme has enteres someones husband as their brother too and now I am unable to deled anything as it says they are connected to too many people. Anyone any ideas? :-(

Depends how bad it is.
You can always edit each name to the correct one
Or to delete you need to start at the top or bottom, whichever is least connected.

If you mean on GR, You have to start deleting with the latest generation first. Work you way back up to the furthest generation.

Thanks, it won't let me get rid of the connection that they are both from the same parents and also married. I think I am going to have to delete about 30 people to get back to them to be able to delete them.

Thanks anyway. :-(

Rather than delete lots of names, there are a couple of other tricks you can try:-

Add the correct names and move any children across. You will then be able to delete the incorrect one as there are no longer any dependents. A variation on this is to simply amend the incorrect name to have the correct details, again deleting any surplus names.

Alternatively you can contact GR support with the details of the names you require removing and they will do it for you.

Thank you I'll try the above and see how I get on, I really don't want to delete all the names I have put in.
