SAVING SEARCH RECORDS

A recent poster was complaining about the loss of search records and then having to pay again for the same record.

One solution is when you have the record (e.g.Census Record) on screen take the following action.

Press 'Print Screen' button on your computer.

Open a blank Word Document, position cursor on page and press RIGHT HAND mouse button. You will see a PASTE option click on this with LEFT HAND mouse button.

Hey presto you have a copy of the Record which you can 'save as' with a suitable name.

Could some one check if this method works? As I don't use GR for research, I can't check.

Right Click on the image
Select 'Save image as..' from the options.
Choose where you want to save it onto your computer and rename it if appropriate.

Not all internet sites support this option, but it is worth a try.
