Ancestry - changes to transcribing rules!

I always thought you wrote what you see!

Now Ancestry (1911) seem to transcribing as locals speak.

I found a long list of people born in Oxton - couldn't think where that was.
It was only the Ancestry transcriber dropping the 'h'. It was clearly Hoxton (London).

Gave me a good laugh.
