If before 1911, try looking for the informant on the census. I did just that for one of my ancestors and it turned out the informant was the next door but one neighbour.

It depends on years of DC.......but if the relationship to the person isnt put then its likely to be outside of the family circle.and that could be anyone if you cant find a name link.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the informant is a friend or member of hospital staff.

i have just recived a death cert,i was just wondering if anybody could tell me
why it does not give me they informants relationship to the person who has died.just there name and address
