JUST REMEMBER THIS

MOST COULD NOT READ OR WRITE
CANDLES USED FOR LIGHT

THEY LIVED BY FEELINGS
THEY USED THEIR SCENSES

THEY FELT THE SUN
THEY FELT THE RAIN

TIME WAS THE SUN
TIME WAS THE MOON

NAMES CONFUSED AS WOULD BE
RICHARDSON
COULD WELL TURN OUT

SON OF RICHARD
HIS SON FRED

THEY LIKED TO KEEP THE FAMILY
NAMES SO YOU COULD GET

MULTITUDES OF SISTERS MARY JANE

JUST INCASE !!!! WELL YOU
KNOW WHAT I MEAN

BUT THEY FOUGHT HARD TO SURVIVE
AND THEY DID

All very true Dizzi , so records can sometimes be only a pointer . Ages etc can be way out because if people couldn't read or write then they couldn't count either,

I have one ancestor whose ages differ by 12 /5 /8 years from census to census, His death age too in th 1870,s is 2 years out but as his daughter registered his death I know I have the right man.
