Hello
I'm having problems printing out the census household transcripts on another Genealogy site.
If I try to print the "printable version" it becomes so small I need a magnifying glass to read it.
I'm sure it's something silly I'm doing wrong;a year ago I didn't have this problem. Now I've gone back this always happens.
Help,please

One solution I have tried is :

Right click on the census image and select Copy. Then you can Paste it into a Word document. This will give you a readable size.

Hope this works for you if no-one else comes up with a different answer!

Thank you Adeline.
I'll try it out.

Another thing that might help - before you print go to" preferences" and in "page set-up" click fit-to-page and landscape.

Just tried that Elizabeth and it doesn't make any difference.
Thank you anyway.

Here's another solution which I had forgotten about which does not involve having to copy and paste.

Right click on the census image.
Select Print Picture
In the Print box select Preferences.
Click on the Page Setup tab and select Landscape.
You can now print an A4 size image.

That doesn't seem to work on my computer Adeline.

Right clicking doesn't give me Print Picture.
I have been doing OK copying and pasting.

when you get the page image up,,,,,

go to file,,,,,,save as ,,,,,choose name ie,,,census 1(this is so you can find it)

save to my documents......

from there when you select the image then print ,,,,,,,,you should be able to select from preferences in printer menu ---------A4 will be the largest mostly on home printer.
