Don't forget BMDshare for any certificates that you have that are surplus to requirements or have requested only to find later they do not belong to your family. It'salso worth looking there in case someone has advertised one that you need.

I did the same with some photos found at a flea fayre. And also with some addressed envelopes nothing in them but theyw ere clearly post marked and addressed so placed the people in those places at that date. very satisfying to find a home.

i did the same recently, i had some old family photo's with names and dates on the back, so i tracked down the family on Ancestry, and got in touch with somebody who had the people in the photo's in their tree. He gave me his address, so i posted them off to him,he asked for mine so he could send thanks, i was just expecting a card but a few days later i recieved a big bunch of flowers, delivered to my door! it was a lovely surprise, and i was just so glad that the photo's went to the right family!
