Hi everyone,
I was trying to look up a particular hospital to see about accessing old records but have found out that it closed, so I wondering if anyone had any advise on finding old hospital records; would they be in the national archives or would I have to contact the NHS if they have archives? The records themselves would be dated 70 odd years ago.
Thanks.

Have you looked at this page of national Archives?

http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/aboutapps/hospitalrecords/default.htm

I suspect these records are confidential, even if they have survived.
