I have just seen the index for Brooklyn Village 1796..and Mr Wilmhurst is not on it...........just by Googling "Brooklyn Village Directory 1796"

I don't want to pay for full membership of the New England Historic Genealogical Society just to ask as simple question but that's what they expect me to do! If you are a member would you be prepared to look up their online copy of the Brooklyn Village Directory 1796 and see if a Richard Wilmshurst is mentioned please? :-D
