On the image The curate used the term // said to be born in his margin notes giving the date of birth at their baptisms . there is no A or E on the page

No idea maybe means she was born Anne Walker not Ann

To all who have replyed to my above question, i owe an apology,
I have been Checking, and the question still stands, the info i put was Wrong, I found * ann walker on Free Reg Born 2/7/1837 *
with a note at the bottom saying said to hve been born a'e that is what it looks like. i am sorry if i wasted anyones time it was not intentional

hello , the cert is one of mine from off a cencus, english yorkshire 1851
and it just had a note saying a'e was also entered on this i think
it could be a deformity but what thank you
