My great uncle Arnold purvis , mother was Hanna (Annie) Burnel he was born Sunderland in 1916, but on his death certificate it says Arnold Purvis, then Purvis with a line through saying Johnson.

The informant was a richard Johnson Arnold died aged 27, he was a bus driver, his death happened in ryton durham but i will check.
I have 30 credits would that help me thanks x

Possibly suzanne, as no man was named father and he never married, i was supposed to be looking up his death and went to the freezer for a choc ice, woops .

id never heard of it, because my family all seem to die before there 40 there is only a hanfull of people doing the tree and were all stuck, and because i looked up on the war remorials that i found a man who would have been my g d.

Do you know where i would have had the information on the on line letters i saw to his wife whist at war ? x
