Anne, until 1919 with only the rarest exceptions women could not vote. All men over 21 and women over 30 got the vote in that year, and it was extended to women over 21 in 1928.

Is it possible to see the electrical rolls on line. I want to find out what happened to my grandmother between the census in 1901 and her marriage in 1907
