Im still new to all this, i have found a birth with 2 records they are the same person but one says see D`61 can anyone tell me what this means. Thanks

Re-registered after the parents married is the usual explanation

If you know who the parents were, look for their marriage..

It means that an amendment was down in Dec 61/ you dont say what year you are looking at so am guessing its 1961 ??

Sometimes its because the child was later legitimised after the parents married
