I don't mind the new tree but my pc doesn't like it ! I have to use the old one.

In days of old with the old tree I have helped three or four people by pming and them showing me their tree and us going through it step by step and solving the problems. I have also done it by e-mail using screen print and setting up the steps to help them.

I haven't tried the doing this with the new tree yet.... but one of the things that could affect one's tree is advertising. I am not sure how it works but I have an excellent ad blocker and if I turn that off and allow ads it does affect entries etc .. they seem to go off into the ether capacious.

I'm with Persie.......

I played around a bit to see what features there were.....trial and error........user error..........sorted!

The Add/Edit/Delete buttons are so easy to use.

There is still the alternative of using the old tree format as Gai has suggested.

I agree totally with BrianW

But Laine, if you have a complaint, send it to GR. They won't know if you don't tell them.

The members who use the boards can't help you

There is a feedback button on the awful new tree.....use it......and that goes for everyone who comments about it, where pro or anti

I like the new tree. I had not been using my tree for awhile but since the advent of the new one I have been having a lovely play around... bit of trial and error but soon got the hang of it.

I have used so many different accounting packages, I found this to be a bit of a doddle.

You should not be losing information Laine... sometimes you think it's gone and then there it is. Lindsey was having the same problems but is all okay now.. see suggestion board.

Just tried the new tree and it is a disaster.

Whichever idiot designed it should be in an asylum !

Let's hope GR drop it like a hot potato. (but I'm not hoding my breath).

Laine,

If you are talking about the new tree layout you can access the old tree from the Family Tree Drop down
