It was just the principle I was checking. I know who should have signed it from the surrounding entries. |

As you're transcribing, it would probably best to add in the note field that the register was not signed by the priest. |

I wonder if he signed the other copies and just forgot the the register? Could you contact the Register Office that holds the record and get them to check? |

Odd! It would be worth finding the entry in the original church register. If its been signed on that, the marriage would be legal. |

In 1895 a marriage certificate has not been signed by the Officiating Minister. It has been signed by Bride & Groom together with 2 Witnesses. |
