one of my relative was transported to Van Diemans land and I understand that a stone is laid in her memory on the convict path. Does any one know where I can obtain any information about this. I have tried the internet without success.

thanks val

Hi Val ...the 'Tasmanian State Library' (on-line) has an 'Ask a Librarian' service ...they will check this out for you. Also there's a 'heritage' section - (ask 'google')
