Thanks again, looks like John and Anna did not have any children, been told that Julia Johns sister, possibly emigrated to Australia at some point. She must have returned to UK/Ireland then went to Australia if my sources are correct.

For the next 2 days, the US 1930 is free on Ancestry.
Troy is (more or less) a suburb of Albany, the state capital.

Thanks Andy.
I am looking up a brother and sister, Julia and John Flannery born circa 1889 & 1890 in Nenagh Co Tipperary Ireland. They emigrated to the U,S. and arrived 12th Oct 1910 in New York, they stated they were going to an uncle Patrick Slattery who lived at 406 Washington St, Troy. New York,

I do not know if Troy is an area in New York City, or the town/city of Troy in New York State. Information required in respect if either of them married and had children, where they lived and when they lived there. I am hoping they will appear in the 1920 and 1930 census, marriage records and death records etc.
Many thanks, Larry

US censuses up to 1930 (except 1890) are on Ancestry. If you need a lookup, post as much info has you have.

Looks like I may have to check the U.S census for New York City and New York State for some information needed. Does anyone have advice as to what information is available online plus website information, may also need to check births, marriages ans deaths also.
All information will be much appr.eciated
