I came across a site few months back which I have found to be quite useful and its free. Its called Mundia .co.uk. Just put a name in and with any luck someone else with the same tree as yours will be on there in all its glory. I have found about 6 trees for my ancestors along with a good number of people I had yet to find. Heard that mundia is an off shoot of ancestry.

Mundia is a Ancestry trial ( beta ) site,
Any one with a tree on ancestry will come up on Mundia web site

They don't only put public trees on that site. I have a private tree on Ancestry and was shocked when my tree came up in a google search. I complained to Ancestry who removed it.

Agree Kevin extreamly slow. Found several of my family trees, wrong as usual. Unlike main Ancesytry site no information who posted the tree.

I found it useful and built a fairly good tree with it, but I only made real discoveries after I uploaded it here. People here seem to put much more information in profiles here, which makes cross-referencing so much easier.

Carol when the search results come up, if you click on the name instead of on 'view tree', you can see the person who the tree belongs to.

Please do take care with the trees on Mundia. They are the public trees from Ancestry and a lot of those are very badly researched and just copied from somebody else's. Use them as a guide and back them up with your own research.

I have had a look at the site, don't think much of it, according to it my Gt Gradfathers wife died years before he was born and in America at that.
