yes I have that ,the 3 eldest children all went into some sort of institution
when they came back from Ceylon after the death of their father

Don´t know if you have seen the 1901 census.
John Wibberley b abt 1889 Portsea Hampshire, schoolboy
Duke of Yorks Royal Military Asylum, Chelsea, London.

An ancester of mine was there much earlier in the 1800s. There is info to be found if you Google, but it was a boarding school for children whose parents were abroad with the army & also an orphanage for children of military parents.
