Up 6.05am tried to get my radio 4 prog on my tele' no sound. Made a cuppa and put bum on chair, old dog wanted to go in garden, young one had been out as soon as I got up. Old dog came in but turned straight round and went out again ( this happened 4 times). Drank my tea which was cold, played with the tele, still no sound. Gave up and put BBC 1 on lo and behold SOUND. Got washed and dressed with no problems. Ready to take younger dog out and feed bird in the aviary, old dog wanted to go. Old dog can hardly walk but as he is my husbands dog I cannot take the descision to have him put to sleep although I know his time has come as he can't even poo standing up.Got him onto the grassed area where he lay down, so I walked the other dog around keeping an eye on old dog. Got in house an hour later after many stops. I had decided to do my OH's no go area while he was at the hospital in what is laughingly called my sitting room, ( he has one half of the room completely filled with debrie) I have to move it all to get to the shelves and it is an acrobatic nightmare balancing on steps and reaching to clean.I started at 9.00am and finally finished at 1pm when I took young dog to the shop to get a sarnie. Home 1.30pm ate sarnie and had a cuppa 1.45 where on earth is the stink coming from? Old dog had messed on the carpet although the door had been open all morning. Cleaned it and old dog up and steam cleaned the area.On the carpet not the dog. This took until 3.00pm, time for work. Worked until 6.00pm home and fed dogs, had beans on toast and then took young dog out after I had let old dog into the garden. Back at 8.00pm and made a bolt for computer room. I am now sitting here, trying to keep awake until 9.30 pm when I will take young dog for last walk. And so to bed. I'm 73 for Gods sake, should be winding down. :-D :-D :-D. Elaine.
