Depending on which time period interests you, I find mocavo.co.uk and mocavo.com extremely good. I have entered relatives names or places connected to family (if the names are relatively unusual) and have found many links that would have taken too long to dredge through or not have shown up in google results. Also useful is a search on

rollo is right,same as the other free sites,only difference is that they are asking you to pay.x :-D

The Mocavo site is a good one and well worth trying. - and free. they E mailed to say that they are introducing Mocavo plus - half price and with a seven day free trial.

I had never heard of the site either. Just had a look at it and it seems to direct you to other sites where the name you are researching has been posted.

Can anyone comment on the above. Is it worth paying for English records. I have used the ordinary free Mocavo site and it is quite good.
