I have just checked on anc . they do have it under Charles instead of chesher.
It definately is the same family. thanks Maddie.

my trancscript is from fmp and i think the other from ancestry
guess the transcriber has difficulty

Does it actually have Edward Charles . saying this as Edward has not shown a second name through census . mind you he does have a grandson named charles. so i m not surprised .
but i am surprised with Francis having Charles as a second name as she is a female?
