Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering if anyone knows how I can trace the death certificate and details of the brother of my great-grandfather, who died abroad. He was Richard John Mutten, 1846-1868, who sailed on the HMS Liffey, died aged 22yrs, and was buried in St.John's Cemetery, New Brunswick. I'd love to find out the story around his tragically early death.

All advice would be very welcome.
Many thanks.

I think it might be before civil registration began, but try:
