You have to also delete anyone descended from him, You have to do that first, so you dont leave 'hangers'

If the person you want to delete has no partner or children then you should be able to delete them??

If you are using the new tree format when you click on the person there are three buttons in the box - "add", "edit" and "delete".

Have you seen those?

If you are using the old tree format then the delete button is in the bar where you can add siblings or parents etc. This is in the middle of the screen and also includes "copy", "clipboard", "delete" and "save".

I think the only thing you can do is ask GR to correct it for you, I did something like it and they put it right very quickly. Good luck.

In error the name of the grandfather of my deceased husband has been added as our son, and I'm unable to delete his details from our section of the tree, can anyone help with advice on what to do now.
Thanks
