If you are still being bothered by the Error message when submitting a post, try the following .......................

When the Error Message shows, click on Back

Go to the page numbers for the thread you are on

Click on a different page in that sequence

Click on the page you were working on

I've been doing this for several days now .......................... and the message has ALWAYS been submitted.

It saves continually clicking Submit, and eventually getting multiple postings.

Try it and see :-D

I agree Sylvia that when the error message appears as you post a message, that the message has usually been posted successfully. I think the error results from a timeout in the housekeeping processing after the message has been stored in the database.

I usually find that usung the refresh icon (or F5) clears it but that may be browser dependent.

If I time out, I usually back button, copy the post just in case, then scroll up to 'my threads' and click. More often than not, mine is the last message posted.

Lady Kira - only spotted the Error problem accouncement this morning. its good to know that they are trying to sort it out even if it will be a slow process. :-)

Yes, I agree. In my experience too, the timeout message happens AFTER the message has posted, as the server is trying to resort and redisplay the thread.

How about still being bothered by the Error message when clicking on a board or on a thread or on sent messages?
