Maybe he wouldn't be that pleased if you looked into his family line . You say he isnt that interested in his family tree so maybe he has reasons.

yeah i did see that record, but he says thats not it, tbh I dont think he will get he's birth cert, im more intrested in this than he is, lol

Well, he could do with his birth cert really, or failing that his brother's. I can't advise you about German marriages, but I would think finding out their full names would be a good start.
There is a Peter Robinson birth 1948 Barnet, but different mother's maiden name - still looks a bit German though interestingly!

yes my boss is Peter Robinson born 1948 in, he says, Barnet hospital but i cant find that record and he's brother is Kevin born 1952 which is prob the record you've seen :-), i have no other records

There is a birth to this couple in 1952 I think - I assume this is how you came by them? If so, does the birth cert give their full names?

Im looking for a marriage in the late 1940s in Germany between Englishman Mr Robinson and German Frau VON KOLCZYNSKI. Can anyone point me in the right direction, I have no other info
