Member Since: December 2006 Posts: 37 Send Message	I am attempting to locate Army Medical Records. I have already acquired my father's Death Certificate and his Army Papers for when her served before and during the second world war. These have proved positive in my (and my brother Robert's) quest for information for our family tree and our personal curiosity. My father was wounded at Dunkirk and was eventually medically discharged from the Army. What I am trying to find out is, is it possible to acquire my father's Army Medical Records for the period he was hospitalised? Would the Army retain these records OR, if not, would they be passed onto his local GP when he was discharged from the Army. If the papers do exist, which authority would have them? And who and where do I make contact to acquire such information.

	Presumably you got his service records from Glasgow? I don't know the answer to your question but would imagine that they are the best people to ask.
