History of a house

:-) Lived in Wellington House Farm, Ramsey St. Mary's until I was 8. Very fond memories of the house. Would love a photograph of it, it was pulled down by the time I was able to go back and take a photograph, probably around 1960. Could I find plans anywhere? A childhood recollection is overhearing that it was once a school, could have been a misunderstanding. Have asked and Googled, any brain waves please? Diane

Try a post at www.rootschat.com A free site

The site has very localised sections and message boards and often people from local history societies are more than willing to help posters with information about just such matters as you are describing. A little bit of local knowledge goes a long way.

Good luck

Thank you for helping. It isn't on Francis Frith or any old Ramsey photographs. I am just going to click on your suggested link and see what that leads to, - - - have just done so and left a help message, thanks, Diane :-)
