I have come across a name in the 1861 census, Tharrisor Chapman of Kendal and I would love to know the origin of the name Tharrisor.I have googled it and came up with zero. Help please . :-D |

I agree with jax that it is probably a mistake and should read grandson. |

Was Harrison a family surname, perhaps the maiden name of the mother or one of the grandmothers. |
